Trisha S. Wollin Psychotherapist MSW, LCSW, RPT, SAC

In my 19 years of providing mental health therapy, I have strived to assist individuals to find elements of success in managing their emotions and behaviors on a day-to-day basis.  As a believer in effective communication, I develop a nurturing environment for individuals and families that involves enthusiasm, flexibility, accountability, and a willingness to change and adapt.

I hold a master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  I am credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist, and a Substance Abuse Counselor.  As the owner of Applied Therapies and Wellness Center, S.C., my current practice focuses on a holistic approach of treating the mind, body, and spirit.  I incorporate the use of trauma-based techniques, play therapy, EMDR, theraplay, client centered, and cognitive behavioral techniques with individuals and children as young as 18 months.

Over the past 19 years, I have learned “in the trenches” how important change and adaption are to establishing consistent environments for individuals and families to thrive.  I have worked in a variety of settings including a community based residential facility, nursing homes, corrections, private practice, and as an adjunct instructor at a local college.  It is my belief that addressing concerns one step at a time yields powerful results for both individuals and families.
